Our dear friend and next door neighbor, Jennifer Lesh, happened onto this DELICIOUSNESS one night when she didn't have any ice, but just so happened to have frozen strawberries. She was so excited by her brilliant concoction, that she immediately called me to share her recipe. The very next day, I got some frozen, organic strawberries and mixed one up.
Oh yeah, baby. I was hooked. And the drunken strawberries taste so good!
Spicy and crisp with strawberry goodness... this makes me want to have a party just so I can serve these!
RECIPE:
2 oz tequila (we use our favorite plata/blanco, but it would be good with a reposado, too!)1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
3-5 frozen strawberries
Combine ingredients in shaker, withOUT ice. The strawberries are your ice. Shake, and pour into your choice of glass.
